On-Site Production Facility in Tennessee
Image Connection owns and operates its production facility in Tennessee, where all embroidery, heat transfers, patches and emblems, and appliques are handled directly by our team rather than outsourced to third-party vendors.
Because the work is done on-site and managed by our experienced staff, clients know their apparel never disappears into an unknown supply chain. It is produced, inspected, packed, and shipped by the same team responsible for delivering the final result.
Quality is Our Differentiator: The Extra Steps That Ensure a Better Result
Many apparel decorators cut corners to save time. Faster production can reduce costs but often leads to inconsistent results.
We take a different approach.
For embroidery projects:
- Every new embroidery design receives a sewn sample before production begins
- Clients receive a photo of the physical sample so they can see exactly how the embroidery will look on fabric
- For stabilization during embroidery, we often use two layers of backing to properly stabilize garments
- Water-soluble topping (Solvy) placed over textured fabrics to prevent stitches from sinking into the material
This topping helps embroidery remain clean, detailed, and clearly defined, even on textured garments such as polos or fleece.
After embroidery is complete:
- The topping is removed using steam
- Excess threads are carefully trimmed if needed
- Each garment is inspected for quality
- We invest time on the front end so production runs smoothly and the finished product meets our standards.
